Liam's expertise lies in real, hands on practical food safety assessment and management. He has extensive audit experience across a multitude of product categories, and is retained as a product safety specialist by the UK's leading quality retailer. Liam holds a B.Sc in Food Science, and has worked for Boots plc, Uniq plc and Marks & Spencer plc in product development, food safety, crisis management & food technology. Liam founded LDA in 2004.

His key skills are strategy development, people mentoring and process development. He has been directly involved in 6 hostile and friendly takeovers and the drove the subsequent change management. He has supplied retailers, quick serve restaurants, food service companies, trading houses and manufacturers. He has setup and run his own start up food company, and has run small local firms. Philip worked for Cargill Inc. one of the largest food companies in the world for 14 years, building, running processing units ultimately focussing on acquisitions and company turn- arounds. He holds an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, is a member of the Institute of Food Technology of Ireland and is a lead auditor.
